Combine the fun of a Ducky Kayak trip on the Verde River with wine tasting at the Alcantara Vineyards, and you get the idea…the best of two worlds.
- The Water to Wine Experience begins with an approximately 1 1/2 hour Ducky Kayak trip on a scenic stretch of the Verde River with just enough chutes and riffles to add a bit of excitement without ruffling any feathers.
- Your river trip ends in the shade of giant Cottonwood trees at the confluence of Oak Creek and the Verde River. Here, you will take the gravel path up through the vineyards to the Tuscan farmhouse at Alcantara Vineyards for your wine-tasting delight.
- The Alcantara Vineyards is a favorite on the Verde Valley Wine Trail featuring award-winning wines and friendly sommeliers who guide you through the tasting. The Wine Tasting room inside the Tuscan Farmhouse overlooks the vineyards and the rolling hills beyond.
- The Water to Wine Experience features great photo ops, fabulous scenery, abundant wildlife, and excellent wine. You even get a credit for purchasing wine or gift shop mementos. The Water to Wine Experience is truly an unforgettable adventure.
What to Bring
- REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE FOR SURE, we can no longer provide or sell any plastic water bottles for use on public land, but we do have filtered water for refilling!!!!!!
- Big smiles and laughter, it’s going to be a fun adventure (River Goddess likes this)
- Clothing that is suitable for the weather conditions
- Change of clothing for after the trip (you will be getting wet)
- Shoes or sandals that can get wet, a sunhat, sunglasses, a strap, sunscreen, a plastic ziplock for phones, a camera, and whatever you would like to keep try
- Water bottles and quick snacks
- I.D. for wine tasting

**Launch times and Shuttle Information:**
- **Please arrive about 15 to 20 minutes early to prepare to depart on schedule. You will meet your shuttle driver and guide at the Vineyard where you will park in designated “Water to Wine” parking. There are outdoor restrooms for changing.**
- Your shuttle to the start of your Verde River trip is about a 15-minute drive from the vineyard.
- Your river trip ends back at the vineyard where your vehicle is parked. We recommend having a designated driver along.

Cancellation Policy
Trips depart RAIN OR SHINE! If it rains, you get more water for your money. If we cancel any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided. Please notify us by phone (877) 673-3661 or (928) 204 - 6440 if you need to cancel or reschedule. Refunds vary according to the cancellation timeframe. See the following for details:

We all aren’t really sure of the future so we make it easy for everyone to change plans!
No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of departure.
Cancellations prior to 48 hours before departure subject to a *$10 per person fee.*
Full payment is required at the time of reservation. Listed prices do not include applicable sales tax, fees, or guide gratuities.
We reserve the right to cancel any departure if we have insufficient reservations. We do all we can to reschedule or accommodate guests reserved on any departure with insufficient reservations.
*Policy for reservations over 30 days and for group trips**
50% deposit due at time of reservation; Final payment and any changes are due and final 7 days prior to trip departure.
Cancellations or changes must be received by email 7 days prior to the departure date and will incur fees.
We reserve the right to cancel any departure if we have insufficient reservations.
