About
You will meet us at the only true brick and mortar surf school in Laguna Beach. We have dedicated guest parking, bathroom/changing room, and best of all... a **warm shower** for after the lesson. We teach at Thalia St, Laguna's best location for beginner waves. Our 1.5 hour lessons allow you ample time to learn paddle out, wave judgment, etiquette, and pop-up techniques. Our instructors are experienced professionals who pride themselves on getting you up, and keeping you safe. We have a very
high ratio of students standing up the first time, and launching into a lifetime of passion for surfing and surf culture.
**We love beginners. No prior experience necessary though you must be able to swim and have a healthy love of the ocean.**

**PLEASE NOTE:** We share the same address with our neighbors to the left of our entrance. Our shop has the prominent white door and frame. You will see a La Vida Laguna sign in the window.

From our surf shop, it's a short walk to the best break in Laguna for beginners because of its consistent, slow rolling waves. Throw on an optional wetsuit, grab a board, and off we go. We start on the sand with instruction on form, timing, posture, paddling, positioning, wave selection, crowd etiquette, and safety. Then we paddle out into the lineup and practice surfing the famous waves of Southern California.
**Parking:** There are four parking spots along Oak Street for our office that remain first come first serve. If you are unable to park in one of the spots, there is plenty of metered parking along Glenneyre (they take credit cards), or free parking in the adjacent neighborhoods.
**Suggested Attire:** Bathing suit to be worn under your wetsuit. Bring a towel, water and sunscreen.

Cancellation Policy
Because we have limited capacities, this booking is not cancelable within 48 hours. Cancellations received 48 hours prior to tour will receive a full refund. If La Vida Laguna cancels the tour because of unsafe conditions, you will receive a full refund. Due to constantly changing ocean conditions, we reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time.
