Makena is renown for its exceptional beauty. Stunning views of south Maui with Haleakala on one side, Molokini on another, with Lanai and the west Maui mountains on the other. The coastline here is phenomenal - sandy beaches with luscious green Palm tree's overlooking the bay. Take a quick dip and enjoy some of the most spectacular snorkeling on Maui. Clear blue waters where you'll find bountiful reef life, corals and enjoy nice refreshing clean waters. Careful not to disturb the friendly sea turtles, and in whale season (Late Dec to April), enjoy the once in a lifetime show.

* We meet at Makena Landing 15 minutes ahead of lesson / tour time
* Bring with you beach basics -sunscreen and a beach towel
* Please leave behind valuables - rings, watches, necklaces ... anything loose to your person
* Use the restroom before joining us

If in parking lot, with ocean on right, walk up over little hill and you will see the kayaks
**Please plan your drive to arrive on time (allowing 15 minutes extra for check in, sunscreen, etc.)**

Drive south on makena alanui past the Fairmont Kealani resort for about 1.9 miles. You will see a street sign "Honoiki" with a right turn towards ocean. Turn here and at the bottom of the hill look right- you will see where the kayaks launch from. Look / Ask for South Pacific Kayaks (see sign). All kayak guides are friendly and happy to help.
