We have a limited selection of Kayaks, Standup paddleboards, Canoes, and Tubes available at our Stowe store for daily and multiple day rentals. Day rentals can be reserved online. If you would like to rent for more than one day, we can assist you over the phone. Where Can You Float?
Please feel free to ask for directions to local water put-ins and popular hot spots. Here is a list of some of our favorites and their drive mileage from our Stowe store.
- Waterbury Reservoir's northern section (4 miles) (lake)
- Moscow Recreational Park to Cottonbrook Rd (2.5 miles ) (approximate 1 1/2 hour float)
How Long Can We Float For?
Our Stowe store hours are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm every day. Rentals can be picked up any time after 10:00 am and must be returned before 5:00 pm

- Please park to the side of Umiak's shop for rentals
- Umiak Staff will help provide the best resources/instruction for you to accomplish a day trip where ever you plan to float!
- Everyone who is using the equipment must sign a waiver form. Adults 18+ years or old should each sign their own waiver. Minors can be added to a waiver with their parent or guardian.
- Please inquire about recommended bodies of water to visit!
