Starry Night — Night Kayak Fishing Adventure

Enjoy the cool evening breeze and the peaceful serenity of fishing under the stars. With no need for sunscreen or hats, this night trip is the perfect escape after work or for anyone looking to avoid the midday sun.

Your adventure begins just before sunset (around 5:00–6:00 pm). As the light fades, the seabed comes alive—larger predatory fish such as Mangrove Jack, Barramundi, Grouper, and even the occasional shark emerge from the reef’s nooks and crannies to hunt beneath your kayak. Each kayak is equipped with a marine navigation light visible from over 2 nautical miles, plus a waterproof headlamp, ensuring comfort and visibility throughout the night.

The highlight of this trip is fishing around Singapore’s last remaining floating homes and fisheries—known as kelongs. These traditional fish farms are surrounded by sunken structures where wild fish gather to feed, creating rich fishing grounds full of hard-fighting, locally prized species. If you’re lucky, the kelong residents may even invite you up for a quick chat or a cup of tea, giving you a rare glimpse of Singapore’s maritime heritage.

(Optional) To round off the evening, your guide can prepare your catch of the night at Pasir Ris Beach, under a tentage lit by beautiful amber LED lights—fresh fish steamed in rustic style, right by the water. It’s the perfect way to end an unforgettable night of fishing and discovery.
