- It's our super-popular Paddle & A Pint! We get together once a month with SJ Brewing Co. to bring you this fun adventure! First, you'll meet at the boat ramp and embark on our exclusive 2-hour REAL self-guided paddle, enjoying the beauty of Lofton Creek and the wetland area. Then, upon return to the boat ramp, you'll head one block up the street to SJ Brewing Co, where you will be treated to your first pint of their award-winning craft brew for free, and discounts on their new in house made flat bread pizzas. This is a local favorite event, so grab your friends and sign up for a great afternoon!

Booking Notes
##Awesome, you will be joining us for a FUN start to your weekend by attending our Paddle & A Pint kayak tour!
- The paddle is 2 hours, an easy one-way-up-and-back route. After you return to the boat ramp from your kayak trip, you will be given a voucher to use for a FREE pint of craft beer from the 2019 & 2020 & 2021 Winner of the JaxBest category for breweries, SJ Brewing Company, located at 463646 State Road 200, Yulee FL 32097. Vouchers will only be given to guests age 21 or over. Vouchers are only good for use on the day of the paddle.
***Your first pint of beer is complimentary, but PLEASE don't forget to tip your bartender!***

As the date is approaching quickly, here is some information you will need to know to make your trip as much fun as possible!
*Starting location for Paddle & A Pint is Melton Nelson Boat Ramp 463540 State Road 200 Yulee FL 32097
*You will be provided use of the kayak, paddle and life jacket (unless BYOK bring your own kayak). We also will have drinks and snacks for you to take along on your paddle. You are also welcome to bring along additional drinks/snacks you like, HOWEVER no coolers will be allowed on the kayaks. ***Please note there is no alcohol allowed at the boat ramp per county laws***.
*There are restrooms at the boat ramp, should you need a place to change clothing, etc.
**IMPORTANT!** Please wear clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting wet, as you WILL step into 6"-12" of water or so in order to enter/exit the kayaks.
*Please park in the dirt parking area or in the grass, avoid parking on the pavement or in the turning area by the boat launch.
*Tour guides receive 100% of any gratuities.
We do not cancel for light rain (unless it is 60 or below)… if it looks like light rain you are welcome to bring a poncho or just enjoy the "Florida air conditioning". However, if it looks like storms or lightning, we will reschedule the event. Because of Florida's mood swings, we wait until about 90 minutes before the events to determine whether or not to cancel, because Florida changes her mind all the time on what kind of weather she wants to have!
*For GUIDED tours, we will post all complimentary photos on our Facebook page in an album with your party's name on it. You are welcome to download, share or copy any photos you like!

- During peak seasons, the boat ramp can become crowded and we may have to wait our turn to launch. This can delay the start time, and subsequently extend the time of the tour. Please allow adequate time for any other adventures you may have planned!
- Single kayaks are rated to safely carry 300-325 pounds, tandem kayaks rated for 500 pounds.

*****Any cancellations need to be requested before 24 hours of the event time. Any cancellations done within 24 hours of the event may not be honored as we staff and set up boats for what was booked.
