Overview
This introductory lesson offers a private session of instruction and practice in the calm, protected waters of Makena Bay. Most guests are up and paddling within 30 minutes of instruction! Your expert instructor will work with you to improve your technique while you learn about Maui’s rich marine environment, ancient geology, and the island’s natural history.
Guests will have the opportunity to experience incredible views of Haleakala summit, Molokini Crater, and South Maui’s scenic coastline, while enjoying a total body workout.
This trip is perfect for first time ocean enthusiasts and beginner paddlers!

Guests must be at least 7 years old to paddle their own board. Younger children are welcome to ride on a parent's board or the guide's board! What's Included

###Guide Gratuity
Our guides do their best to ensure you have a great time. It is customary, but always optional, to tip your guide if you had a positive experience. Guide gratuity is not included in your reservation fee and should be paid directly to your guide. (15-20% is standard).
