# We’re looking forward to your Meyers Beach Full-Day Tour!
Please complete the waiver included in your confirmation email before your tour date. This will help speed up the check-in process when you arrive.
## Important Start Time Information
Your tour begins with check-in at our **South Shore Adventures shop in Bayfield at 9:30 a.m.**
Please arrive at the shop at **9:30 a.m.** to get fitted for gear, review tour details, and grab any last-minute items before heading to Meyers Beach.
The kayak portion of the tour begins at **Meyers Beach at 10:30 a.m.**
After check-in, guests will drive separately to Meyers Beach, where the kayak portion of the tour will begin. Once you arrive, please park and make your way to the **South Shore Adventures** truck or guide.
## Parking
Meyers Beach has a **$5 parking fee**. The fee station is located at the top of the parking lot. Payment is made by scanning a QR code and paying with a credit card. You may need to connect to the NPS Wi-Fi to complete payment. Cash is not accepted.
## What’s Provided
We provide kayaks, paddles, PFDs, wetsuits, and the necessary kayaking gear for your tour.
A picnic-style lunch is also included.
## What to Bring
We recommend wearing quick-drying clothing, such as a swimsuit or athletic clothing, to go under your wetsuit.
Please bring:
* A rain jacket, even if rain is not in the forecast — kayaking involves splashing
* Shoes you do not mind getting wet and sandy
* Sunscreen and bug spray, which are also available at our shop
* A reusable water bottle
* A hat and sunglasses
* Any personal medications or items you may need
You will get your feet wet when launching and landing, so please dress accordingly.
## More Info
The Meyers Beach Full-Day Tour is approximately **5–7 hours from start to finish**, including shop check-in, gear fitting, travel to Meyers Beach, kayak instruction, paddling time, breaks, and a picnic-style lunch.
This full-day adventure gives us more time on the water to explore the mainland sea caves, sandstone cliffs, arches, and Lake Superior shoreline at a relaxed pace. Weather and lake conditions permitting, we’ll stop at a scenic beach area for lunch with time to rest, refuel, and enjoy the shoreline before paddling back to Meyers Beach.
This tour is beginner-friendly but longer than our half-day trip. Guests should expect approximately **6-8 miles of paddling**, depending on lake conditions and group pace.
We never paddle in unsafe conditions, and all tours are based on current weather and Lake Superior conditions.
Tours can accommodate up to 12 guests, with a maximum of **6 guests per guide**.
Other than that, all you need to bring is a smile and a desire for adventure!
