Description
Get yourself back into underwater world with our quick SCUBA refresher course! Only taking about 1.5 hours to complete, why not go for a dive right after refreshing your skills! Hilo has a lot of fantastic dive sites to choose from, for beginners and advanced divers, so why not book a shore or boat dive right afterwards! Our experienced divemasters and instructors will make sure you have a safe and fun experience during and after your refresher!
The SCUBA refresher course consists of practice assembling your gear, predive safety checks, mask removal and replacement, emergency weight drop, neutral buoyancy and hovering, and alternate air source use and ascent, and any other underwater skills you want to practice!
**Please Note**
If you do not finish your eLearning and paperwork, you will not receive a new certification card until it is complete. If you do not complete your paperwork before attending it will come out of your class time and will be an extra $50 to make up for the wasted time.
Policies
1. Students must show up at least 30 minutes prior to course departure fully prepared (eLearning, PADI Medical and Liability paperwork, and Hilo Ocean Adventures student learning agreement completed), otherwise students will be subject to a $50 make-up fee or a $100 rescheduling fee if you are not medically fit to dive.
2. Students can not reschedule more than 24hrs in advance or it will be a $100 rescheduling fee.*
3. Certification courses are not refundable, if you miss your course within your stay, you have one year to reschedule. Otherwise your course will no longer be valid.
This fee can be waived for circumstances out of the student's control.

**A note specific to your Refresher**
You must already be a certified diver (Open Water or higher). **Bring your certification card.**
This is a pool-only skills refresher in our heated indoor pool, about 1.5 hours. It's a tune-up to rebuild comfort and confidence, not a certification update, so no new card is issued. If you'd like to get back in the ocean the same day, ask us about adding a shore or boat dive.
