About
Come sail and play in Fort Lauderdale's "Aquatic Playground" on this unforgettable excursion aboard our state of the art catamaran the Spirit of Lauderdale. Sit back and relax while we tour the "Venice of America" and "Millionaires Row" and set sail to the Atlantic Ocean!
See sights such as:
- Port Everglades, home to many Cruise Lines
- "Venice of America"
- "Millionaires Row"
- Beautiful mansions
- Mega yachts
- Historic sites
Next we'll head to the Atlantic Ocean. Sails up, sea breezes and salt air increase everyone's taste for fun. Calypso music and breaking waves provide a tropical rhythm. Relax and enjot the views while you sip on an ice cold beverage served by our friendly crew.
Splash! Arriving at our swim stop, the real fun begins, as you slide down our super water slide into the tropical blue-green water on Fort Lauderdale's first reef, play on our giant water trampoline, relax with a swim noodle or borrow a mask and snorkel and explore or just relax on the nets and catch a tan on the catmaran! - Snorkeling is "weather and ocean conditions permitting" and thus not guaranteed.
In the event that weather conditions are making the ocean too rough, we have an alternate swim stop inside of the Intracoastal Waterway called Lake Sylvia. This is a safe area with calm water where we can anchor. We will then deploy the water toys and enjoy swimming off the catamaran for the Sail & Splash Cruise. The safety and comfort of our guests is always our priority.

**Discussion**
South Florida weather patterns are unique to our region. Most storm showers are isolated, scattered and seldom last more than an hour. It is not uncommon to have severe thunderstorms west of US 1 and clear skies just a couple miles East along the beaches. As our catamarans have covered seating areas and are mobile, once we leave our marina we are able to sail around to find the sun.
