Paddle along a beautiful stretch of the gorgeous Raundal River on our fun and flow Canoe trip.
Take your entire family or friends on a relaxing and outstanding adventure! Outdoor Norway will take you on a stunning trip to discover the magnificent Raundal River from an inflatable canoe.
You will paddle alone in the canoes while our guide is close by with his kayak, guiding you down the river.
Your 5km “fun-flow” experience starts where the Marine Canyon finishes at.
Our friendly experienced guides will accompany you while you ‘go with the flow’ and paddle down this picturesque river and enjoy the outstanding scenery.
Your tour will finish at Palma Fossen; a 15m high waterfall on the Raundalselva river, here you will find a Salmon Ladder that helps the salmon to swim all the way up the Raundalen. There the shuttle back to Voss awaits you.
THE RIVER CANOES
Our fun River Canoes & Rafts provide you with the perfect way for you and your entire family to enjoy this breathtaking scenery.
The section of river we paddle contains many fun rapids in the Class I-II category as well as many beautiful pools for you to relax and float through while enjoying the crystal clear water.
Our qualified guide will provide instruction (dry land and on-the-water) so that you not only have a great trip but learn skills that you can apply to future paddle adventures as well.

GUESTS REQUIREMENT FOR RIVER CANOE
• Children 12 years and under are to be accompanied by an adult in the same watercraft.
• Under 18 years – A guardian must sign the waiver liability form. You will receive the waiver form via email after your activity purchased.
• You must be able to swim
• Weight limit 120kg
• Normal physical health
• Please inform us of any medical conditions like asthma, epilepsy etc. Before your river trip.
CANOEING TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
• Scenic view of the mountains surrounding the river and the crystal clear water you are paddling in.
• Many fun grade 2 rapids and many other grade 1 rapids.
• Palmafossen – 15m high waterfall on the Raundal River.
• Fish Ladders are one of the most commonly used methods to grow the fish population in Norway. These ‘Ladders’ help by allowing the fish to access larger areas of the river upstream which they otherwise could not access due to large obstacles in the river that they can’t swim up – e.g. waterfalls. By helping the fish to come up such previously impassable obstacles, it gives them more space to breed and feed.
• Fish Ladders have great significance for the maintenance of biodiversity and productivity. In the current situation with many endangered stocks of salmon and freshwater fish, this is particularly important.

##ITINERARY
> • Please meet us at our Operational Base 10 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled tour
• Check-in with a front desk staff member.
• Gear up, drive to the river (13min), safety instructions, warm-up on the river.
• River trip (1 - 1.5hrs)
• Load equipment back in the car and head back to the base (8min).
• Arrive back at our Outdoor Base, change, and reflect on the days adventure!
BY BUS OR TRAIN? It's an easy and pleasant 300m walk from the train/bus station.
DRIVING? If you are planning to drive, paid parking is available at our base. You can leave your car here, knowing it's safe, while you immerse yourself in the activities with us. Note: Parking is for vehicles only. Camping, or sleeping in vehicles/campervans are not permitted.

Cancellation Policy
##Cancellation or Contract Modification by the Customer or Affiliate
Cancellations of contracts must be in writing. Cancellations are only valid after consulting with the organiser and obtaining their agreement. One of the received documents (receipt, invoice, confirmation or tickets) must be attached and returned at this time via email booking@outdoornorway.com
In the event of a cancellation, the following percent of the arrangement costs will be charged to the contracting party:
##Half and Day Tours, Combos, Rentals and Courses:
Cancellation 10 days or more before the agreed activity starting date: You are automatically refunded for the full activity price
• Cancellation between 4 and 9 days prior to the agreed activity starting date: You are entitled to a 50% refund
• Cancellation 4 days or later, prior to the agreed activity starting date, is considered last-minute cancellations: No refund will be possible
For groups of 10 or more participants:
If a group reservation is partially cancelled, meaning with a reduction in the number of participants to a less extent than 30% of total number of participants booked, the contracting party will incur a charge equivalent to a percentage of the arrangement costs per person, as outlined below
• 3 to 9 days before the activity: 20%
• 2 days or less before the activity: 100%
A reduction of more than 30% of the participants will be treated as full cancellation.
In case the tour is operated in partnership with a third party supplier (e.g. Train, Hotel) the cancellation conditions specified by the respective supplier will be applicable. These potential costs may be included as an additional charge on the bill.
