Booking Notes
**Security Deposit Policy**
A refundable security deposit of **$5,000.00** is required for this rental. The deposit will be authorized as a hold on your credit card at the time of check-in (separate from your rental payment) and will be **released 7 days after the boat is returned**, provided the boat is returned in the same condition as when rented, with no damage, missing equipment, or policy violations.
Please bring a valid credit card with sufficient available credit to cover the $1,500 deposit hold at check-in. Debit cards may be accepted but funds may take longer to be released by your bank.
By booking this rental, you acknowledge and agree to the security deposit terms above.
Cancellation Policy
Payment. Full rental amount charged at booking. Not a deposit, the whole thing. It locks the slot and puts the money in your account. Your $5,000 damage hold stays separate and gets released in full on any cancellation since no boat went out.
Refund tiers, based on notice before the reservation date:
14 or more days out: full refund minus a 3% processing fee, or a free reschedule to any open date the same season. Renter picks.
7 to 13 days out: 50% refund, or a free reschedule to any open date same season.
Inside 7 days, or a no-show: no refund. The slot is yours to keep.
