Mahalo for booking a snorkeling adventure with Snorkel Off the Beach Maui! We are stoked to take you out snorkeling in one of our magical Maui reefs.
Snorkeling location is determined by where ocean and weather conditions are the best for the day of your tour. All of our snorkel tours take place on the west side of Maui. We'll confirm your exact snorkeling spot the day before your adventure.
PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO THE DAY OF YOUR TOUR:
** Snorkeling is a physically active water activity that requires some physical fitness and exertion. By booking, you confirm that you are able to safely participate in this activity. If you have any questions about your physical fitness to participate in this activity, please consult with your physician.
** Please DO NOT APPLY SUNSCREEN OR MAKEUP to your faces. It will likely drip inside your mask and cause your eyes to burn. Wetsuits ( up to 4X) are provided for your comfort so most of your body will be protected from the sun. It is suggested that you wait to apply sunscreen until after putting your wetsuit on to see where you may need sunscreen coverage. Please share this information with your entire party.
** Complimentary wetsuits are available in sizes up to 4X
** Please bring beach towels, water and sunscreen. Everything else will be provided!
** For our friends with facial hair- if you have a mustache, you might experience a little water leakage in your mask. For the best seal and the most comfortable fit, a clean shave around the mask area is helpful- but of course, it's totally up to you! No worries if you keep the facial hair- it's super easy to clear a little water from your mask while snorkeling, so you'll still have a great time!
** If you wear glass, just a head up- glasses won't fit under the mask. But no worries! Contacts work great if you have them. And if you prefer a prescription mask, some local snorkel shops rent them out. Please be aware these shops typically open at 8 am and close by 4pm so you will have to make arrangements for a rental the day before your tour if you are scheduled for an 8 am snorkeling tour.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
As a small, single-operator business, every tour is thoughtfully planned, and last-minute changes affect the ability to accommodate other guests and maintain a smooth schedule.
1.) Cancellations made more than 72 hours before your scheduled tour will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule.
2.) Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour date are not eligible for a refund. However, if we have availability, we may offer a one-time rescheduling at our discretion.
3.) Fear, anxiety, or a change of mind on the day of the tour is not a valid reason for a refund. We specialize in working with non-swimmers, beginners and nervous participants, and we’ll support you throughout the entire experience.
4.) Cancellations due to illness or sickness are non-refundable. We recommend that guests consider purchasing travel insurance that may provide coverage for unexpected illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
5.) Concerns such as fear of marine life or misconceptions related to menstruation and sharks do not qualify for refunds. We ensure safe conditions and will support you throughout.
6.) For the safety of all guests, Snorkel Off the Beach Maui reserves the right to cancel or refuse participation if a guests appears physically unfit to safely participate in the activity or appears intoxicated or impaired. No refund will be provided when participation is refused due to intoxication or impairment.

Snorkeling is a physical activity that requires physical fitness and being able to maintain yourself in the water. While our private tours are designed to accommodate beginners and non-swimmers with personalized support, snorkeling still requires physical exertion.
Guests should be in appropriate physical condition to participate. If you have any medical condition, recent injury, or concern about whether snorkeling is appropriate for you, please consult with your doctor or healthcare provider and obtain medical clearance before participating.
For the safety of all guests, Snorkel Off the Beach Maui reserves the right to cancel or refuse participation if a guests appears physically unfit to safely participate in the activity or appears intoxicated or impaired. No refund will be provided when participation is refused due to intoxication or impairment.
