Want to get out on the water, but prefer more focused instruction? Our private lessons are perfect!
We believe that anyone can paddle, and sometimes you just need some assistance to help you have the confidence to get out there! We will start with discussing some techniques on land and learn how to safely launch your kayak. Then we will learn a few different strokes, and you will receive feedback from your instructor. By the end of the lesson, you will be equipped with knowledge and technique, but also increased confidence on the water!
- Private one-on-one lessons are $50 for 2 hours.
- Private small group lessons are $40 per person for 2 hours (2-4 people).
- Price includes a Kayak, a paddle, a life jacket, a dry box for your phone/wallet/keys, and private instruction. Lessons are taught by American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified Level 1 Kayak Instructor, Kate Houston.
