**What is the best time of day to see wild ponies and wildlife?**
Anytime of day is great, wild horses graze and move around anytime of day. Shorebirds, eagles and dolphins are also seen at all times of the day. Mid April through mid October is awesome.
The smooth waters between the barrier islands of Assateague and Chincoteague are perfect to enjoy the scenery & various wildlife. The sightseeing tour take you in comfort through some of Assateague and Chincoteague’s most spectacular scenery including the lighthouse. Jump aboard and head across to nearby Assateague Island National Seashore and Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Visitors of all ages can catch a glimpse into the daily lives of the legendary wild ponies. Travel to the best areas to see herds of the wild horses, bald eagles, dolphins, shorebirds and other wildlife.

The town harbor has a handicap-accessible dock. Getting on and off the boat may require a small step or two (up or down) or lifting a wheelchair. Please let us know at the time of booking, and also inform the captain or crew as soon as you arrive so we can plan accordingly.
Please note that we cannot guarantee full handicap accessibility, but we will do our very best to assist. Most handicapped guests have successfully boarded, though there have been a few instances where boarding was not possible. We appreciate your understanding.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.
Our boat is located at Chincoteague town harbor (**Curtis Merritt Harbor**), on the **far left side** of the harbor, at the end of the **Floating Dock #3**.
Once you enter the harbor, proceed to the left side of the harbor, pass the restrooms/harbor master building, go to the very end of the road and park on the left side. Look for a red sign that says Floating Dock #3. The boat is at the end of the floating dock. Ample free parking (parking for RVs and motorcoaches is available as soon as you enter the harbor at the first parking lot) & restrooms available at the harbor.
If the minimum number of passengers required to run a tour is not met, you will be contacted to reschedule.
