We are located at the **south end of the Coconut Marketplace parking lot**. Look for our Pono Kayak Rentals signs and kayak trailers.
Please arrive during your selected pickup window. If you are running late, call us at

### What We Provide
Each rental includes:
* Tandem kayak
* 2 paddles
* 2 life jackets (PFDs)
* Foam roof blocks and tie-down straps
* 35L dry bag
* Small cooler
* Basic route recommendations and safety information
### State Park Fees
Please note that the following fees are required by the State of Hawaii and are **not collected by Pono Kayak Rentals**:
* **$5 per person State Park Entry Fee**
* **$10 vehicle parking fee**
These fees must be paid directly to the State at the marina entrance.
**Credit card payment only. Cash is not accepted.**
### What to Bring
We recommend bringing:
* Driver's license
* Credit card for State fees
* Water
* Snacks or lunch
* Sunscreen
* Hat and sunglasses
* Swimsuit or comfortable clothing
* Towel
* Water shoes or footwear suitable for getting wet
### Important Rental Information
* Renters must be able to safely load, transport, and unload the kayak using the provided roof rack system.
* All participants must sign the required liability waiver before departure.
* Please inspect all equipment before leaving the pickup area and notify staff of any concerns immediately.
* Kayaks and equipment must be returned by the designated return time listed on your reservation.
###Return Times & Late Fees
All rental equipment must be returned by the scheduled return time listed on your reservation. Late returns may be subject to additional fees. Equipment returned more than 2 hours late may be charged an additional full rental day. If you are running late, please call 808-435-5569 as soon as possible.
### Cancellation Policy
Reservations canceled **24 hours or more before the rental date** will receive a full refund.
Reservations canceled within **24 hours of the rental date**, no-shows, and unused rentals are non-refundable.
Weather-related cancellations made by Pono Kayak Rentals will receive a full refund.

Important Information
• U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (PFDs) are provided and must be worn as required by law.
• A basic safety orientation will be provided before departure.
• Participants should stay hydrated and use appropriate sun protection, including sunscreen, hats, and protective clothing.
• Weather and water conditions can change quickly. Guests should exercise caution and make conservative decisions while on the water.
• Do not participate while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or physical ability.
• In the event of an emergency, call 911 immediately.
