Requirements
- PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Certification or equivalent.
Booking Notes
The Shark Awareness Course involves some theory on a PDF. This theory has some reading, and some Knowledge Reviews that need to be completed and provided to us before certification. The second part of the course is a half-day double dive trip.

You will need to read through this theory, and complete the knowledge reviews. You can print these and bring them in, or (preferably) complete them digitally and return it to us.
On your diving day, after getting gear sorted at the Dive Shop, we require you to drive down to the Marina and meet us at the wharf, so please ensure you have your own transport.
Please ensure you are prepared for your dive with the following:
- Your proof of certification.
- Any of your own gear you would like to use
- Swimmers, towel, reef-safe sunscreen
- Seasickness tablets (if required. We recommend. Do not use ginger)
- Remaining payment for the trip (if required)
A light morning tea is provided on board:
- Hot water for cup-a-soup, tea, coffee
- Small serves of biscuits (cookies and shapes)
- We have vegetarian soups available.
If you have any other questions, let us know!
Cancellation Policy
We require 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of ANY PORTION of your Open Water Course. If cancelled within 48 hours of the commencement of any portion, you may forfeit payment for the course or section of the course.
Final decisions for any refunds are up to the discretion of Jetty Dive Centre.
