About
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course certifies you to dive to 30m! It requires five dives (we give you a bonus one FREE) and teaches important skills to help you become a more independent diver. This course is when you begin to THINK LIKE A DIVER.

By default, we book you in for 3 consecutive days when booking this course. If you would like to reschedule your 2nd and 3rd day of your course, please contact us after booking and we will move your bookings to other days.
Requirements
Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent is required.
Booking Notes
We will issue your E-Learning Code as soon as we receive your booking, within our business hours. You will receive an email with a link to your E-Learning to get started on the PADI learning portal. You will also receive an email with **digital forms that must be completed prior to starting your course with us**. If you do not receive either of these emails, please check your junk/spam. If you still have not received these emails, please contact us.
The digital forms can also be accessed in your e-learning portal. See the screenshot below to demonstrate *where* in your e-learning portal. These are mandatory and **MUST** be completed before joining us for your course, no exceptions.
By default, we book you in for 3 consecutive days when booking this course. **If you would like to reschedule your 2nd and 3rd day of your course, please contact us and we will move your bookings to other days**. You will get confirmation emails for you two days of diving. If you do not recieve these, please contact us. You will also receive an email with a waiver for your diving days. On a course, you do not need to fill in this diving waiver.
The Advanced Course involves 5 adventure dives. Deep and Navigation are mandatory, and we highly recommend Peak Performance Buoyancy.

Please read these, and complete knowledge reviews:
- Underwater Navigation (Mandatory Specialty 1)
- Deep Diving (Mandatory Specialty 2)
- Peak Performance Buoyancy (One of your first dives)
and then you can choose 2 elective dives from the following:
- Drift Diving
- Fish Identification
- Search and Recovery
- Underwater Naturalist
- Shark Awareness (If you would like to do Shark Awareness, contact us for the theory)
- Enriched Air Diver (Additional cost to add Enriched Air to Advanced Course)
Please let us know what elective dives you would like to do, ASAP.
For your first day, please ensure you are at the dive shop at 7:30am, or 7:15am when doing your navigation dive. Ensure you have everything you need:
• Any of your own gear you would like to use
• Your Open Water (or equivalent) dive license OR Enriched Air License if applicable
• Payment for the remainder of your course if you have not already paid in full.
• Seasickness tablets in you require them (we suggest them! Do not use ginger.)
• And swimmers, a towel, and reef-safe sunscreen.

Cancellation Policy
We require 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of ANY PORTION of your Advanced Open Water Course. If cancelled within 48 hours of the commencement of any portion, you may forfeit payment for the course or section of the course.
Once you have commenced your E-Learning Theory, this portion of the course is non-refundable, as we cannot recover these costs.
Final decisions for any refunds are up to the discretion of Jetty Dive Centre.
