Combination Tours
Pick-up available from many New Orleans, Metairie and Kenner hotels.
*Combination tours are offered only 1 time per day.* The pick-up window is between 10:30-11:00am. Please be OUTSIDE and ready for pick-up when the driver arrives, keeping in mind that buses have no parking areas and will be allowed to stop only momentarily for pick-ups. Due to traffic delays and the number of stops, we ask that you be outside and ready for this 30 minute period.
Due to the length of this tour, we recommend our guests eat a hearty breakfast and pack a bagged lunch or snack. Lunch is not provided at the swamp, however, snacks (alligator jerky, chips, chocolate and frozen bananas) are available for purchase. In consideration for all guests and for sanitation reasons, there is no eating or drinking on the shuttle. However, there are picnic tables throughout our property for use and we do allow light snacks on the boat.
After leaving the city at approximately 11:00AM, our buses arrive at the swamp at approximately 11:30AM for the 12noon swamp tour. The tour lasts until approximately 1:40PM.
Buses depart the swamp no later than 2:00PM as both plantation tours (Laura Plantation offered seasonal) are on a scheduled tour time. Many guests enjoy these 30 minutes of free time browsing our gift shop, using the restroom and enjoying the grounds at Cajun Pride.
Cajun Pride transportation will drop off guests between 2:45-3:00PM.
The plantation requires our bus driver to assist in the check-in process for ticket distribution.
Oak Alley tour time is approximately 3:00PM. This time is offered through the plantation, and we are unable to deviate from what is assigned.
After your guided tour, there are approximately 30 minutes of free time.
Cajun Pride transportation will pick-up guests between 4:30-4:45PM for transfer back to the city.
Shuttle times are approximate and are not guaranteed due to potential traffic or weather delays. Our drivers do their very best to stay on schedule. Personal car or rental car is suggested for those who are on a strict schedule or do not wish to wait on the shuttle service.
___
Due to our swamp's location and proximity to the plantations, our combination tours offer you less travel time than most other tour companies. For example, our Oak Alley Plantation and Swamp Tours Combo requires only 78 miles right from downtown New Orleans. Combination tours for both individuals and groups can be arranged for you by the tour experts at Cajun Pride Swamp Tours!
**LUNCH IS NOT PROVIDED ON COMBO TOURS**

Swamp Tours Info
For many years people have traveled extensively to locate a unique and exciting adventure exploring Louisiana's back country with its meandering bayous and swamps that you can only experience here - the historical Manchac Swamp. We invite you to join us for an educational journey back to the early days of Louisiana bayou and swamp explorations.
Swamp creatures, seeing our boats daily, recognize them as part of their normal environment. Unafraid and responsive to their boat captain's call, they peak out from underbrush and between moss-draped trees and shrubs, frequently coming directly to the boat. In the safety and comfort of the boat, you can actually come within a few feet of jumping alligators.
As your boat drifts through the waterways, you will learn about the Louisiana Wetlands, the inhabitants of the swamp, particularly the life and habits of the American Alligator, as well as the unique history of the Cajun town of Frenier within the Manchac Swamp.
