We will pass by several iconic landmarks, including Fort Sumter, the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, Charleston Battery, the Ravenel Bridge, Shem Creek, The Spirit of South Carolina and Castle Pinckney. Along the way we will be in search of dolphins and other wildlife. The Charleston Harbor is a vibrant and bustling Port. It also acts as a backdrop of one of America’s most beautiful cities. A trip to Charleston is not complete until you have experienced the city from the water.
Also, for summer, we will find a swimming hole and launch our SunChill float. No better way to explore the harbor and beat the heat than hanging out on the float. See pics.
Booking Notes
Thanks for booking a tour on The Dolphin Queen. We run our tours out of the Sea Breeze Marina located near the base of the Ravenel Bridge. First and foremost, parking at the marina is limited. We highly suggest that you take an Uber/Lift or private bus.
Sea Breeze Marina 50 Immigration St, Charleston, SC 29403
If this is not an option there is parking along side of the road. Once you get to the dry stack, aka, the tower of boats, their is no more parking and you will be ticketed.
Once you have arrived look for the Island Cabana Bar. Your first mate will meet the group and walk you to the boat. We suggest that you arrive for your tour at least 15 minutes prior to departure time, if not earlier.
What to bring: Snacks, drinks, adult beverage, sunscreen.
The Train: From 3pm to 4pm everyday except Sunday the road to the marina is blocked by the train leaving the port. Most days it is gone by 4pm. Sometimes, not very often the train lingers. If the train does this we will call you with an alternate pick up location. It’s rare but it could happen.
Cancellation Policy
If we encounter Weather we will make the call an hour before the tour. Usually, it will rain for 30 minutes then pass or it will sit on top of us all day. Charleston's weather constantly changes and does not sync up with most weather forecast.
We do not do cancelations within 48 hours of our tours. Anything before that, except for Bachelor/Bachelorette tours, will get a full refund.
