Rates
**$50 per person**
**$32 for child under 12 (Tandem Kayak accompanied by adult only)**
This price includes boat, gear, and paddle instructions.
*Requirements*: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak. Please contact to arrange for a tandem kayak. Participants less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Guests can cancel or reschedule outside of 24 hours without penalty. All tours are nonrefundable within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time. There is a 25% upcharge for rescheduling within 24 hours.

About
This two-hour kayaking tour is paced for intermediate, novice and younger paddlers alike. It is an easy moving trip will take you through the maze of tidal creeks that wrap around uninhabited hammock islands. An experienced local guide will lead you and the group through these beautiful coastal waterways, taking time to talk about the natural surroundings. Marsh tours provide the chance to see Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin, Loggerhead Sea Turtles, American Wood Storks, oysters, local waterfowl and other wildlife.
The Marsh Kayaking Tours are available throughout the day during the summer months. Reservations must be made at least 2 hours in advance in order to secure your boats.
We suggest booking the morning tour for cooler air and glassier waters during the heat of the summer.

**Liability waiver**
Every individual in the group must complete an
[electronic liability wavier](https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/v/coawaiver/)
prior to arrival. This can be forwarded via text or email to others in the group. Adults must complete one on behalf of each minor.
**Directions**
We are located between James Island and Folly Beach. From Folly Road (SC-171) turn onto Bowens Island Rd (about 1.5 miles before Folly Beach) There will be a large sign for Bowens Island Restaurant at the turn. The paved road will become gravel. Follow this road to the end where you will find Bowens Island Restaurant, a parking lot on the right, and our office along the boat landing.
Please plan and dress accordingly to ensure comfort and safety. Look ahead at weather forecasts and bring plenty of water with you. Especially on the weekends, we also recommend checking the GPS to make sure you account for traffic in your travel time.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak. Please contact to arrange for a tandem kayak.

**Pet policy**
No dogs/pets are allowed on guided group tours. Please notify us if you will be bringing a service dog or would like to book a private tour.

**Transportation**
Uber & Lyft are the most common methods of transportation for those who do not have a vehicle. We do not provide transportation.
We are next door to \Bowens Island Restaurant https://bowensisland.com/ which is now serving lunch & dinner 12:00pm to 9:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Plan to enjoy a nice seafood meal with a view before or after your outing.
Cancellation Policy
Please remember there is a 24 hour cancellation period so please call ahead if you can’t make the tour. Groups that arrive later than scheduled departure have the option to reschedule for a 25% up-charge or cancel with a 50% refund. If you chose to reschedule within 4 hours there is a 25% upcharge. If we cancel due to inclement weather you will receive a full refund or chance to reschedule.
