- Please be sure to complete your activity waiver linked to your ticket confirmation email prior to arrival for Express Booking Check-In Services.
- Check-in at Guest Services located down on the boardwalk level.
- Recommend arriving and checking in 30 minute prior to your expected paddle start time.
#The details of your booking are below. Here are a few reminders prior to arrival:
- Free parking available.
- Don’t forget your swimwear and towel!
- Please complete your WAIVER in advance. If not, you will be required to do so on-site prior to participating in activities.
- Lagoon Participants must be at least 3 years old and 30lbs. All children 17 and under require parent supervision. For children under 8 years old, a parent must be on the same watercraft. For children under 14 years old, a parent must be present on the lagoon with the child.
- Arrive 30 minutes early for check-in. For assistance with checking in, please visit Guest Services at The Launch inside Sessions Retail Shop or on the Boardwalk level outside of Nalo Kai Club.
- All guests must wear a certified life jacket while in the lagoon and on the dock. Life vests are provided. If you wish to bring your own, a life jacket must be an approved USCG life jacket and inspected by dock staff.
- All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II PFD. Guests must always wear an approved USCG certified life jacket while in The Lagoon and on the dock. If you wish to bring your own PFD, the jacket must be an approved Type II PFD and inspected by the dock staff. **Puddle Jumpers are not allowed.
- Boardwalk Lockers are available for rent for $5.00 to keep valuables safe. Please ask for more details when checking in.
- Ask about our Nalo Kai Club Access to upgrade your day with A/C, TV, lockers and private showers.
- Please use reef-safe sunscreen. If you forget, we offer sunscreen for sale at Sessions Surf Shop.
- Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated with our complimentary water refilling stations.
🚫 Note: No outside Food and Beverage, coolers, tents, chairs or smoking allowed. Re-useable water bottles only.
🚫 No Tailgating in parking lot.

Wai Kai reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any booking at any time, for any reason. In the event of a cancellation, guests will be offered alternative booking options or a full refund.
Cancellation Policy
#48 Hours in advance:
For bookings made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai to be eligible for a refund of the amount paid, less a $5 administrative fee per transaction, you must call 808-515-7873 or visit Launch to confirm your cancellation and/or reschedule no less than 48 hours before the scheduled activity (surf, paddle, lesson, scheduled pick-up time, or other product/service booking). Any bookings cancelled within 48-hours or no-shows will result in a 100% forfeiture of the amount paid.
#24 Hours in advance:
For bookings made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai to be eligible for re-booking or receive the transaction amount, less a $5 administrative fee per transaction, you must call 808-515-7873 or visit Launch no less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity to confirm your re-booking or gift card request. Any bookings not rebooked within 24 hours or no-shows will result in a 100% forfeiture of the amount paid.
#Third Party Sellers:
For bookings not made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai, refund inquiries must be sent to the purchasing agent, agency, or site you booked through and must adhere to their rules and restrictions.
#Groups & Programs:
Bookings for Group Events, Na Opio Kai, Wai Kai Surf Academy/Lessons, or other specialty clinics – please refer to the specific cancellation policies and terms identified for those programs.
#Safety & Weather
The safety of our guests is our number one priority and weather conditions are always taken into consideration. The LineUp at Wai Kai reserves the right to cancel any reservation if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g. high winds or lightning). If so, we will reschedule or provide a refund to for the activity that was cancelled. Rescheduling and gift cards will only be issued if their experience is limited to 2 hours or less and/or less than 50% of the activity time slot. 2 hours or more than 50% off activity time slots will not be eligible for any refund compensation.
#Other
Wai Kai reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any booking at any time, for any reason. In the event of a cancellation, guests will be offered alternative booking options or a full refund.
Important Information
- Suggested Paddle Experience: We recommend having some basic experience with paddling or water sports for a more enjoyable and safe time, especially for the Outrigger Canoes and Surfski.
- All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II PFD. Guests must always wear an approved USCG certified life jacket while in The Lagoon and on the dock. Life jackets will be provided.
