Key Largo Dive Center (99480 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037) is located on the property of the Bayside Inn Key Largo.
When driving:
- Turn west (bayside) at the traffic light at Overseas Hwy & North Ocean Bay Drive
- Enter from North Ocean Bay Drive
- Our office is located next to the Inn’s registration office
Our dive boat is located across the street from the shop, approximately a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive away, near Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Cafe (1313 Ocean Bay Dr). Please plan accordingly, as we do not provide transportation between the shop and the boat.
Boat arrival directions:
- Park along the mangroves on the right side of Ocean Bay Drive, before Key Largo Fisheries
- Cross the street and walk down the ramp behind the restaurant
- We are the 5th boat in, and our crew will be there to greet you

##Waivers & Medical Forms
Please complete your waiver prior to arrival:
👉 [Waiver] (https://www.smartwaiver.com/splash/50420/)
All divers, snorkelers, and bubble watchers must complete their own waiver.
All divers must also review and complete the PADI Medical Statement:
👉 [Medical] (https://media.rainpos.com/9938/medical_20210205064228.pdf)
- If you answer “YES” to any required questions, you must bring a physician-signed clearance form (page 3) with you.
- Physicians may not sign their own medical form—another physician must complete it.
- If you have any medical conditions or restrictions, please let us know in advance.
-----------------------------------------
##Important Reminders:
- Full face snorkel masks and mini fins are not permitted on board.
- All divers must bring their certification card and proof of dive currency. Digital certification cards are accepted.
- If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend taking preventative medication (e.g., Dramamine or Bonine). Trips are not refundable due to seasickness.
- Guests must provide their own transportation from the dive shop to the boat.
- All trips are weather and ocean-condition dependent. Our Captain and crew make all decisions with safety as the top priority. Conditions in the ocean can vary from day to day, and flexibility is appreciated.
- Air tanks are included in the cost of your trip and have no cash value. Bringing your own tanks does not reduce the trip price.
##Gratuities
We are often asked about gratuities. Based on typical practices throughout the Florida Keys and the Caribbean, many guests choose to tip:
- Divers: approximately $15 per tank
- Snorkelers: approximately $10 per location
Of course, gratuities are always at your discretion and can vary based on your experience and the level of service provided by the crew.
##Dive Guide / Divemaster
We always aim to provide a Divemaster/in-water guide for divers; however, this may not be possible due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, mechanical issues, or illness.
Please note:
- Dive guides are not a substitute for proper certification, experience, or dive readiness
- Complimentary guides have no cash value
- On rare occasions, we may subcontract another vessel to avoid cancellations. While we do our best to maintain consistency, conditions may vary slightly.

#Dive Insurance and Trip Insurance:
While scuba diving is generally safe when practiced responsibly, it is strongly recommended that divers carry specialized dive accident insurance. Many standard health or travel insurance policies do not cover diving accidents, including hyperbaric chamber treatment or emergency evacuation from remote locations. Dive insurance helps cover expenses such as chamber treatment, emergency medical care, evacuation services, and sometimes equipment loss or damage.
One of the most widely used providers for divers is [Divers Alert Network (DAN)](https://dan.org/membership-insurance/dive-insurance/).

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations or reschedule requests must be received and acknowledged at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. For boat trips, cancellations made 48+ hours in advance are eligible for a full refund (including deposit). Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for unused services or rental equipment. Tanks and weights have no cash value, and bringing your own does not reduce the trip price.
For courses, at least 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel. Deposits are non-refundable. Required eLearning must be completed prior to arrival—failure to do so will require rescheduling and incur a $119 rescheduling fee.
All trips and training are weather and condition dependent. The Captain and management reserve the right to cancel trips or change dive locations if conditions are deemed unsafe. If a dive trip is canceled due to weather, a full refund will be provided. For courses, rescheduling or alternative training options will be offered.
