Honolua Bay is protected as a marine conservation area and is one of Maui’s most scenic snorkel spots. Snorkel at two secluded spots popular with sea turtles, colorful fish, and vibrant coral. Wild dolphin sightings are also common, as are humpback whales from December to April. Continental breakfast is included and a delicious BBQ lunch is prepared onboard.
Not recommended for pregnant women or those with back or mobility issues.

We’re so glad you’re snorkeling with us from Lāhainā. Here’s everything you need for an easy start to your day on the water.
**Where to Meet**
**654 Wharf St., Lahaina**
Look for our orange and blue PacWhale sign by the harbor pergola. It’s near the public restrooms, right in view of the loading dock.
**When to Arrive**
**Please check in 20 minutes before departure.** Grab a seat at the pergola while you wait. As soon as our crew has the boat secured, they’ll walk over to meet you and bring you down to the dock together.
**Visiting Lāhainā**
Lāhainā is rebuilding, and you’ll see active construction on homes and businesses throughout town. Thank you for being a respectful visitor as this community recovers following the 2023 fires.
- **Stay on marked walking paths.** Some nearby areas are culturally sensitive, and construction zones aren’t safe to enter.
- **Parking:** This is a 5 hour trip, so choose parking that allows enough time. Paid all-day options are available around town. Please read posted signs carefully, as parking is at your own risk.
- **Dropping someone off?** The pergola is the perfect spot, especially for anyone who’d like a shorter walk.
**What to Bring**
- **Wear your swimsuit,** and bring a towel plus a cover-up or light jacket for the ride back.
- **Hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen:** Maui County allows only mineral sunscreens. Forgot yours? It’s available for purchase onboard.
- **We’re cashless onboard.** Card and digital payments are welcome for purchases. Cash is always appreciated for crew gratuities.
**Onboard**
- **We provide quality snorkel gear for every guest.** For your safety, full-face snorkel masks are **NOT** permitted.
- Wetsuit tops and binoculars are available to rent.
- Each trip features a third-party professional photographer to capture memories and wildlife. There's no obligation, but you'll have the option to purchase their work at the end of your trip.
- Restrooms are available onboard.
