About Hervey Bay's Ultimate Whale Watch

**Cruise on** ***Ocean Defender***
You'll cruise in comfort on Hervey Bay's purpose-built wildlife and whale watching vessel *Ocean Defender* with a maximum of 38 passengers. Enjoy a smooth ride with panoramic water-level "whale's eye" views from forward-facing seats offering plenty of shade.
There's also plenty of room on this small-group tour with excellent photo opportunities and the convenience of a toilet onboard. *Ocean Defender* follows all regulations for whale protection including our own "Be Whale Aware" guidelines.

Your ticket to adventure with Pacific Whale Foundation supports whale research, marine education and ocean conservation in Australia and around the world. An international Non-Government Organization and eco tourism pioneer, Pacific Whale Foundation has been working to save the whales since 1980.

By booking this tour, I assign, transfer, and grant to Pacific Whale Foundation and Pacific Whale Foundation Eco-Adventures Australia the right to produce and utilize materials with my (and any minors in my party that I am responsible for) face, likeness, voice and appearance as part of advertising and promotion of their related programs and offerings.

**Pacific Whale Foundation Australia Ocean Store
**Check in is 30 minutes prior to departure time at the Pacific Whale Foundation Australia Ocean Store at shop 1, 17 Buccaneer Drive, Great Sandy Straits Marina- there is a free car park outside Break Free Resort on Buccaneer Dr.
We do not allow children under 6 years or 130cm on Ocean Defender.
We recommend that you leave yourself some time to peruse our gift shop before or after the tour if you are looking for souvenirs. The Ocean Store stocks souvenirs including toys, magnets, clothing, hats, bags, postcards, photocards, jewellery, books and glass art by local artists. **
**What to Bring**
Camera, hat and sunglasses. We also recommend bringing a warm and/or water resistant jacket and sun protection. We do sell t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, jumpers, hoodies, sunscreen, hats, rain ponchos, sunglasses and beanies in the Ocean Store.
We do not allow children under 6 years or 130cm on Ocean Defender for the Ultimate Whale Watch Tour.

Reservations are refundable up to 48 hours prior to scheduled tour. Check-in for boarding at least 30 minutes prior to departure time at the Ocean Store. No-shows are non-refundable. Children under 6 or individuals under 130cm not permitted. Not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with neck or back concerns. All activities are at your own risk. No liability, expressed or implied, rests with Pacific Whale Foundation, or its subsidiaries or officers. Pacific Whale Foundation reserves the right to reschedule or cancel due to weather, sea state or other circumstances.
