Policies
- It is very important to arrive early to the park, as it regularly reaches capacity during peak visitation when it opens at 8AM. **Thus, arriving at or before 8AM is crucial. Paddle reservations more than 30 minutes late will be cancelled and vessels will be reassigned.**
- Our vessels must always stay between St. Johns green river channel markers 69 and 77. No watercraft allowed in the spring run at the present time.
- You must stay in your vessels with life jackets on and fastened at all times during the rental. For your safety, swimming and landing at any other beach is not allowed, including French Landing. Boarding other boats or exchanging passengers is also prohibited.
- Must be 18+ yrs old to book. PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED FOR EACH RENTER 18+ YRS OLD. COPIES ARE NOT PERMITTED. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian present in the party. Must be 14+ yrs old to be in a single kayak with adult supervision. Children less than 6 yrs old are not allowed to be in a kayak however may be in a canoe with an adult.
- **Alcohol may not be brought into the State Park or onto our vessels.** We reserve the right to inspect coolers prior to departure.
- Pets are not permitted in our kayaks and canoes.
- **CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS UNDERWAY**
Effective April 1, 2025: In-water activities are closed while we stabilize the shoreline and complete construction of the upper boardwalk at Blue Spring State Park. This closure includes swimming, snorkeling, tubing, diving and paddling in the spring run and spring head. Boat tours and paddling are only allowed in the St. Johns River. Visitors are asked to adhere to all posted signs and avoid closed areas when visiting the park.

**Arrival Information**
Please ensure that you arrive at the kayak/canoe building 30 minutes prior to your reserved time to avoid delayed reservations. Please note the park opens at 8:00am. The kayak/canoe building is located near the playground off the “lower parking lot” at the end of the main park road.
Please be advised that during peak seasons (manatee season & summer) the park typically reaches capacity early in the morning. If the park has reached capacity and stopped admitting vehicles, please present your reservation confirmation (via phone is sufficient) to a park ranger directing the car line.
Cancellation Policy
# Guest Tour Cancellations
**Paddle craft reservations must be cancelled no less than 24 hours before your scheduled start time to be eligible for a full refund.** Cancellations within a 24-hour window will only be eligible to be rebooked. No call, no show, will not be eligible for a refund or rebook once their scheduled rental time has passed. ** Same day reservations ARE NON REFUNDABLE and only eligible to rebook to another day.**
# Weather Cancellations
Rentals depart rain or shine, so please arrive prepared with a poncho or raincoat. If lightning is reported within 5 miles of the launch area, launches will cease until lightning has been out of this radius for 30 minutes. If the rental is cancelled by Blue Spring Adventures BEFORE DEPARTURE, only a full refund will be issued. Rentals that leave the beach past the buoy line will be considered complete and will not be eligible for full or partial refunds. Pre-bookings cannot be downgraded to a shorter amount of time upon arrival. If lightning is not detected, but the guest decides to postpone, the trip can be rebooked.

Guests may rebook a date up to one year after the original booking date.
