What to bring:
1) Lunch
2) Snacks
3) Lots of water
4) Towel
5) Sunscreen

Recommended:
1) Please consider bringing an umbrella and a hat.
2) Sunglasses
3) Something warm to wear in case they get cold and want to get out of their wetsuits.
4) We will provide boards and wetsuits if needed but we recommend one piece swimsuits for girls and jammers (compression shorts) for boys.
5) If kids have their own wetsuits we recommend bringing them since they often feel much more comfortable in their own suits.
6) If kids have their own boards they are allowed to bring them if they are soft tops and not hard tops boards. (No hard top boards are allowed at camps)

What will be provided:
1) Large Camp Tent- it is still highly advised to have your child bring their own umbrella.
2) iSurf Hat
3) Friday Pizza Lunch
4) Surfboard
5) Leash
6) Wetsuit
The wetsuit will be lent to the students to hold on to and take home for the duration of their time at camp. We suggest you to bring a bag to put the wetsuit in at the end of the day since the suit will be wet and sandy. Every night please rinse the inside and outside of the wetsuit with fresh water. Then leave the wetsuit out to dry in a shady place with the wetsuit inside out.

Instructor to Camper Ratios:
For ages 4 to 7 there will be a ratio of 1 instructor for every 3 campers. For ages 8 and over, there will be a ratio of 1 instructor for every 4 campers. All instructors are required to not only watch over the nearest campers to them but all of the other kids in camp, both in and out of the water. The camp manager will be overseeing where the kids are and making sure that instructors are keeping our ratio in the water and on the beach. All instructors are CPR Certified.

Schedule:
Camp will consist of beach games in the morning and then water time before lunch(11:30). Before the end of lunch (12:30pm) kids will be instructed/assisted with applying sunscreen. When lunch is over there will be another round of beach games before ending the day in the water for some more surfing, boogie boarding and fun.

Camp Goals:
This is not an intensive surfing camp. We do not force any camper to do anything that they don’t feel comfortable with. The goal of this camp is to build ocean awareness while making it a fun and comfortable place. That being said we always encourage all of our campers to try to surf, boogie board and/or swim in the ocean. Our staff can help your kids progress in all levels of swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing no matter what level of experience they are at.

Have an amazing day and we look forward to seeing your kids at the beach and in the water!
