Booking Notes

ALL TRIP CHECK IN TIMES FOR RIVER TRIPS ARE 1/2 HOUR PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME LISTED ON THE INVOICE. Example: If your trip is listed as 8:00 am then your check in will be 7:30 am. ALL TRIPS WILL LEAVE ON TIME FAILURE TO BE ON TIME CAN RESOLVE TO YOUR TRIP BEING CANCELLED...!!!!!!! We do not hold up a trip.
This applies to all river trips on the New or Gauley Rivers as well as all horseback trips booked with us. We will not make the next guest wait if you arrive late for your scheduled time.
If you are renting wetsuits you will want to check in 45 minutes prior to departure to give yourself time to fill out all paperwork. PLEASE MAKE ALL MEMBERS OF YOUR PARTY AWARE OF THIS POLICY. Please leave all valuables at home do not bring anything that you do not want to lose on the river...!
Should you choose to bring your pet they must be kept on a leash in and around our base and at your campsite at all times. They cannot be left running loose.

**What To Bring**
To make your overnight trip more comfortable there are some things you may want to bring along. Remember you are camping on the river and it is primitive, so you will need to bring a lot, we will provide camping gear (tents), food and beverages, and campfire.
Sleeping Bag and Pillow and Sleeping Mat
- Light Jacket for evening
- Insect Repellant
- Flashlight/Lantern
- Playing Cards
- Camera (waterproof)
- Medication (if necessary)
- Additional Snacks (optional)

A bathing suit, sunglasses, and tennis shoes are standard at any time of year. For spring or fall trips, you may bring a polypro or wool sweater and hat, and a windbreaker. Wetsuit rental is available for especially nippy days, and don’t forget a change of dry clothes and shoes!

Cancellation Policy

**NEW RIVER / GAULEY RIVER CANCELLATION POLICY**

Cancellations thirty (30) days prior to your reservation date entitle you to a full refund minus a 15% processing fee. Cancellations less than 30 days out no refunds will be issued.

Any changes for all reservations, Rafting, Horseback riding, and Lodging are subject to a fee for:

Date Changes made to any reservation less than 1 week prior will be charged a fee of $75.00 for this change less than 3 days prior will be charged $130.00 for that change.

If a change is made the day of a trip to the rafting or horseback riding or Lodging the fee for that change will then be 175.00.

Any credits that may be reviewed and issued after the 30 day mark will only be issued as a gift card that will be less 25% of the purchased value paid. This gift card is only good for 1 year from the date it is issued. No Cash or credit card refunds will be issued.
