Each kayak seats 2 people we do have a single kayak for odd numbered groups.
What to bring
• Water. You'll be getting a light workout.
• Swimsuit/Clothes that you don’t mind getting wet.
• Sunscreen/sunglasses
• Water shoes/sandals
• Reusable water bottle
• Towel for after the trip.
• Any extra gear you’d like. Remember - less is more.
Booking Notes
Thank you for booking a 2.5-hour guided clear kayaking tour with Sea Glass Kayaking! Here are some important details to help you prepare for your upcoming adventure:
Customers will need to complete waivers prior to the tour.
Our kayaks have a 250 lbs weight limit per person and 425 per kayak.
Meeting Point:
We meet our customers next to the public boat ramp at 561 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater, FL 33767. Please DO NOT go into the library looking for us we are not in the library.
Parking:
Parking near 561 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater, FL 33767 can be limited due to the high demand in the area. However, there is a public parking lot within a short walking distance from the location. Additionally, there are a few street parking spots available directly across from the boat ramp just be sure not to park in the spots labeled library only!
What to Bring:
We recommend bringing water, water shoes, and sunscreen. Please wear comfortable clothing that can get wet and bring a towel and a change of clothes if you like. We'll provide dry bags to keep your personal belongings safe and dry during the tour.
Arrival Time:
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in and get prepared. Our team will be there to greet you and provide a brief orientation before we head out on the water.
Launching.
Please note that due to business license requirements in the city of Clearwater, rental customers at our 561 Bay Esplanade location are required to launch the kayaks themselves. Launching means taking them off the trailer walking about 20 feet and putting them in the water. We want to assure you that we have taken steps to make the process as easy as possible. We provide wheels to assist with moving the kayaks, and our team is available to offer guidance and instruction to ensure a safe and successful launch.

Cancellation Policy
Sea Glass Kayaking understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to provide a fair and transparent cancellation policy for our guests.
If Sea Glass Kayaking cancels a tour due to inclement weather or any other unforeseeable circumstances, guests will be given the option to reschedule their tour or receive a full refund.
For cancellations made by guests, a full refund will be issued if the cancellation is made 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled tour time will not be refunded.
No-show participants will not be refunded, and any latecomers will not be able to join the tour once it has started.
Please note that Sea Glass Kayaking will not launch in unsafe weather conditions. If a tour needs to be cancelled due to safety concerns, guests will receive a full refund of their reservation. However, Sea Glass Kayaking will not be held responsible for any other expenses incurred by the guest as a result of the cancellation. We also reserve the right to change or cancel any tours due to circumstances beyond our control.
