**For those experienced paddlers that just want to rent a boat and have the ability to safely transport it on their own to and from the river. A great option for a group that has their own boats and occasionally needs to rent additional boats for a visiting guest.**
This service includes rental of the boat, paddle, and life jacket for the day. **This does NOT include shuttles of any kind, customers must bring their own vehicles for the shuttle capable of safely moving our rental boats.** This is for experienced paddlers that know the river, that know the launch and take-out points and have the vehicles to safely transport the boats on their own.
Booking Notes
** EQUIPMENT RENTAL RULES**
For an equipment rental this means YOU will bring multiple vehicles and be able to run your own shuttle and return our boat safely to our shop at the end of the trip. Our boats are NOT allowed on any Class III sections of river (ie NOT allowed to run Balcony Falls Section of James River). We need to know your put in, and your planned take out when you make your reservation. Equipment Rentals Only are for boaters with previous paddling experience that do NOT need a trip safety briefing. If you are a new paddler we recommend you sign up for a regular trip to start with.
**ONLINE WAIVER**
Please make sure to read, and digitally sign the online waiver and acknowledgement of risk form. A separate waiver is needed for each adult. Waivers for minors can be grouped with their parent or legal guardian. Please complete the waiver prior to check in.
