What to expect
- Make the most of this experience using all your senses and get to know the details of the Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve as well as the Natura 2000 Special Protection Zones along this wide wetland, where you can find resident bird species, wintering, migratory breeders or simply passing migratory.
- The best time to observe Birds is from September to May, when some species arrive and leave others, but the ornithologist specialist can give more detailed information on the migration phenomena in this important wetland in the Iberian Peninsula.
- The best time of the day is when the mudflats are exposed during the low-tide. We always depart when the tide rises for safety reasons.

- Bring warm clothes even if it is a sunny day outside (remember you’ll be out in the vast River on a speedboat!).
- Bring sunglasses and use sunscreen. The sun reflects the water and you can easily get sunburnt.
- Check if your camera is fully charged. You’ll want to remember this day forever!
- Our departure is on time and we cannot wait for late customers. We give 5 minutes maximum tolerance. Please plan your arrival on time.

Cancellation Policy
- Bookings can be changed and cancelled for free up to **24 hours** before the activity start time.
- **No-shows** will not be refunded.
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to **unforeseen circumstances** (i.e.: bad weather).
- We may reschedule the booking if the **minimum of 4 places** are not booked.
