About This Trip
- Our bioluminescent tours are given in our amazing clear kayaks! We only bring groups of 10 people out on the water at a time so be ready for an awesome personalized experience with our top notch guides.
- Each of our kayaks are tandem, so bring a paddle partner! If you are solo or in an odd-numbered group, our guide will offer to paddle with you, or you may take a boat by yourself. However, our weight limit is 425 pounds per kayak, and no more than 250 pounds per seat.
- Safety is our priority. Each guest will be required to wear life jackets. We will provide a glow stick for additional safety.

Choosing The Right Night
- The darkest nights are the best for viewing! We recommend a night with 55% moon phase or less for the best possible viewing experience on the water.
- Season is typically May-October but peak season is July/August. The warmer the weather, the better!

- The weight limit is 425 pounds per boat and no more than 250 pounds per seat. Each of our kayaks are doubles (tandem).

#IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ
- Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour! If you are late, you will be considered a NO SHOW and won’t be able to receive a refund OR reschedule your tour. We do still paddle out in the event of rain, however if there are unsafe weather conditions, our team would make the decision to cancel the scheduled tour and issue a refund to the original form of payment or reschedule the tour.
- Make sure you completely understand the launch time of your reservation. The date and time is listed exactly as your launch time (please be aware if the tour is after midnight).
- As a safety precaution we do please ask that no two people riding together equal a weight of over 425 pounds. AND please ensure no person is over 250 pounds as an individual limit.
- Orlando and surrounding areas are KNOWN for its traffic, so please plan accordingly.
- Please use natural bug spray or dry bug spray to help keep our kayaks clear! (We suggest Repel Natural DEET-Free Aerosol Insect Repellent).
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
- There are only portable toilets at our launch location so we recommend using the restroom prior to entering the Refuge!
#RECOMMENDED CLOTHING
- We highly recommend wearing long sleeve pants and long sleeve shirts.
- A hat will also help protect you from mosquitos.
- TIP: Wear the deet-free bug spray under your clothing and then also make sure any exposed skin has bug spray on as well. Please note that our kayaks can get damaged by DEET so even though we recommend deet-free bug spray, please allow time for the deet-free bug spray to dry prior to getting in the kayaks.

*We launch half way down this road (Northwest Haulover Canal Rd). When you see the enclosed trailers in tow behind a silver Toyota Tacoma ask for Get Up And Go Kayaking.
There are multiple kayak companies that launch at the end of this dirt road - we do not launch all the way at the end. Please make sure you are with the right group when you arrive!
