📍 CHECK-IN & PARKING
Please arrive at Kayak Village and locate the Puerto Rico Eco Tour table on the right side of the rounded corner. Park in the designated guest parking area to start the checking in process. Allow extra time for traffic and parking.
🚤 TOUR FORMAT & REQUIREMENTS
Guided group tour using tandem (2-person) kayaks only. Single kayaks are not available.
Maximum weight per seat: 225 lbs. <NO REFUNDS will be issued if a person neglects to submit the correct weight >
Groups with an odd number will be paired with another guest.
Paddling distance: ~1.5 miles each way. Swimming in the bay is not permitted to protect the ecosystem.

☔ WEATHER POLICY
Tours operate rain or shine. Cancellations are only issued if the operator cancels due to severe weather, thunderstorms, or lightning. Guest cancellations are subject to our standard policy.

Bathing suit or clothes you don’t mind getting wet
Water shoes (highly recommended)You must wear water shoes, sandals with strap or comfortable shoes in order to participate, Flip-flops accepted.
You may bring a camera at your own risk
RESTRICTIONS:
Participants CAN NOT go Barefoot.
Pregnant ladies are NOT allowed to participate
Overweight participants are not allowed to participate in this activity due to safety guidelines.
SEASONAL DISCLAIMER: Please be advised that an odor from decomposing sargassum may be present near the Kayak Village. Once the tour enters the mangrove channel, conditions will be clear.
Furthermore, note that bioluminescence intensity is inherently unpredictable throughout the year. At present, we are experiencing low bioluminescence levels but we may find a brighter area that you only get by walking, please bring closed shoes or sneakers.

No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or if any member of your group chooses not to participate.
Important Information
• The tour involves moderate physical activity. Participants must be in good (average) physical condition and physically capable of paddling to the lagoon 1.5 mile each way. "Towing" is not allowed.
* For Safety Reasons, participants will be weighed on site at check in time. Maximum weight per seat on Kayak is 225 pounds per person. Kayaks are doubles, but weight is not combined.
