Please note: Effective 7/1/2025: Minnesota law requires all rental boat operators to complete safety training before getting behind the wheel. You can find more information and complete the course [here](https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/safety/boatwater/education.html).
Tonka Boat Rentals will require proof of training before boarding the vessel.
In addition to the boating license, per our insurance, all passengers must complete a [liability waiver](https://www.tonkaboatrentals.com/waiver) before boarding.
We'll send you additional details via email and text message as your rental date approaches.
In order to streamline your experience at your departure.
Please have the following:
Proof of your boating license or rental certificate. (Not needed for Captained Charters)
Screenshots of ALL [passengers waivers](https://www.tonkaboatrentals.com/waiver).
Credit card for a security deposit hold.
There is 1-3 hour parking on the streets of Wayzata, however it can get pretty busy. There is also parking at 253 Lake street east (Barry street parking lot). Here is a link to the map.
Our slips are located at the Depot Docks in Wayzata: [402 Lake Street East, Wayzata](https://www.google.com/maps/search/depot+docks+in+wayzata+address/@44.9700171,-93.516679,17z?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDQxNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D). There is a turn a round at the depot where you can unload your stuff and then park at the above location.
