Thank you for booking your private charter aboard EQUADOR!
Your crew is already getting excited — we can’t wait to take you out for a relaxed, fun and unforgettable day on Geographe Bay. Before the good times begin, here are a few things to know so your day runs as smoothly as the bay on a windless morning.
✅ Arrival Information
• Please arrive 10 minutes early.
It gives you time to board, stash your snacks and drinks, and get settled.
• We depart right on time — the ocean waits for no one. Late arrivals may mean a shorter cruise (and nobody wants that).

(Just behind The Deck Restaurant — and yes, they make great pre-cruise coffees.)
✅ What to Bring
Pack like you’re heading out for a warm, salty adventure:
• Towels & swimwear
• Sunscreen, hat & sunglasses
• Drinks & ice
• Food or snacks (unless you’ve booked catering)
• Light jacket (the breeze can keep things interesting)
• Any personal medications
• Sea sickness tablets if you’re not best friends with the ocean
• Insect repellent
• Comfortable shoes
• 1 x 600ml water bottle per person per 2 hours onboard — non-negotiable hydration!
✅ Safety & Alcohol Guidelines
We’re all for a fun day, but safety comes first — especially on water:
• No red wine (it stains… everything)
• No straight spirits (mixers only, captain’s rules)
• Stemless/plastic drinkware only
• Kids must be supervised at all times
• Swimming & water toys are weather-dependent — your skipper will give the green light
• Please enjoy drinks responsibly — unsafe behaviour may pause water fun or end the charter early
We’re here to ensure everyone has a brilliant day and gets home safely.

• Snorkel hire available for $15 per set
• Crew pick-up of catering available upon request (fees apply)

If you’ve booked a beach pickup (Quindalup, Old Dunsborough, Meelup or Eagle Bay):
Please have your group ready on the beach at the scheduled time — we’ll glide in, scoop you up and head off.
Location fees apply for these zones.

Your safety is everything to us.
If conditions are unsafe, we’ll contact you to reschedule or refund.
If conditions require a route change, the skipper will choose the smoothest, safest and most enjoyable plan on the day.

Cancellation Policy
**General Terms**
Life happens — we get it. But the ocean waits for no one.
All bookings are subject to the policy below, so please have a quick read before confirming your reservation. If you need to change something, just reach out early — we’re far more flexible before last-minute panic sets in.
**Sunset Cruises**
- Sunset spots are limited and highly sought after, so:
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- No refunds (choose your date wisely, sunset lover).
- Rescheduling may be possible if availability allows — but not guaranteed.
- If a refund is given, it will exclude any non-refundable deposits, booking fees, credit card fees, or charges paid to online booking agents.
**Rescheduling by Passenger**
- We’re happy to help where we can, but here’s the deal:
- Rescheduling is at management discretion and depends on availability.
- No rescheduling within 48 hours of departure — that time slot is yours, rain or shine.
- In some cases, we may issue a voucher valid for 12 months.
**Cancellation by the Company**
- Safety comes first. If the ocean, the weather, or the boat decides to misbehave, we may need to cancel, delay or adjust your tour. Reasons include:
- Wild weather that the dolphins don’t even like.
- Mechanical issues (boats are divas sometimes).
- Safety concerns for passengers or crew.
- Low booking numbers for scheduled tours.
**If We Cancel Your Tour**
- Don’t stress — you’ll never lose out because of our call. You’ll receive:
- A full refund if the tour is cancelled before boarding.
- A partial refund if we must return early due to unexpected issues.
- The option to reschedule or receive a voucher with 12-month validity.
- We’re fair, transparent, and always on your side when it comes to cancellations we initiate.
**No-Show & Late Arrivals** We love punctual people — truly.
**Private Charters:** If you’re running late, we may be able to wait, but your end time won’t change if we have other bookings.
**Individual Ticket Bookings:** If you arrive after departure, the boat won’t turn around. Late arrivals forfeit their ticket.
**Third-Party Bookings**
- Booked through another website or agent?
- Their rules apply.
- Any cancellations, refunds, or disputes must be handled directly with that provider (they have your payment — not us!).
Important Information
We care deeply about the safety and comfort of all guests aboard Equador. Please review the following health and safety guidelines before your cruise:
✅ Qualified Crew Our crew are trained in first aid and marine safety procedures. Life-saving equipment is onboard and inspected regularly.
🦺 Life Jackets Available on request for all guests, and recommended for children or any guest entering the water who is not a confident swimmer.
💊 Medical Conditions If you have a medical condition that may affect your participation, please let our team know in advance so we can assist where possible.
🌊 Water Safety Swimming is optional but at your own risk. Competent swimming ability is essential unless using a life jacket or flotation device.
☀️ Sun Safety Please bring adequate sun protection including sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses—especially during peak summer months.
🔥 Alcohol & Safety Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted. Excessive drinking or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the vessel without refund.
🤒 Feeling Unwell? If you're experiencing illness or flu-like symptoms, please contact us prior to your booking. You may request a rescheduled date to ensure the wellbeing of others onboard.
📝 Passenger Waivers All guests are required to complete a waiver before boarding. This covers essential safety and participation agreements.
