##Regulations
- Please note that all renters must adhere to local boating laws and regulations. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, is required to have a Boater Safety Card. You can obtain one at [https://www.boatus.org/](https://www.boatus.org/) It's free and takes 4 to 8 hrs.
- Ages 21+ to drive and rent
- 10 passengers maximum
- The boundaries for rental boats include north through the ICW (Intracoastal Waterway) to Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, North Captiva Island, Cayo Costa Island, and Cabbage Key. Rental boats are not allowed east through the Caloosahatchee River (Beyond Cape Coral Bridge), north to Matlacha, in the Gulf of Mexico, or south to Lovers Key.
- **Do I have to wear a lifejacket on the boat?** Adults are not required to wear personal floatation devices (PFDs). Children 12 years and younger are required to wear PFDs while boat is underway. By law there must be one (1) PFD for every person and one (1) throw cushion per vessel.
##What to Bring
- Bathing suit on and ready under your clothes
- Dry towels and a change of dry clothes or layers for the ride home
- **For daytime experiences** – UPF protective clothing and a light jacket or sweat shirt for the start of the day or if the wind comes up.
- Non-aerosol reef-safe sunscreen. Please apply before boarding the boat giving it time to be absorbed.
- **For Night Experiences** – Warm jacket and additional layers as you will not have the sun to warm you
- If you experience motion sickness, you are encouraged to consult with your doctor and if approved, to use a relief agent such as Dramamine, Bonine, or other brand product well in advance of the tour following the instructions for use by the manufacturer. Sea-Bands are a non-drug option as well and are available at a local pharmacy. Our fast and open-air boat will reduce the sideways motion that larger boats experience, but only you know your own sensitivity and we ask you to take the appropriate precautions for everyone’s best interests.
