Thank you for choosing Fontana Marina! We're confident that you will have a world class experience renting a boat and exploring Fontana Lake. The area is rich in history with the entire north side of Fontana Lake being the GSMNP and most of the southside of the lake being protected National Forest Land. This combination of protected land provides a vast, pristine, relaxing environment.

By way of this email, your reservation is confirmed. Please review rental dates and times to ensure all of the information is accurate. Your credit card has been charged $100 as a deposit on your rental. The remaining charges (including fuel used) will be charged to the credit card on file when you return the pontoon/fishing boat and complete your rental.

Please note: We will work with you and use common sense to resolve any issue to insure that you have a safe and memorable experience at Fontana Marina.

Please arrive a few minutes early. The parking lot is a short walk from the Fontana Marina and we have golf carts available for you to bring down coolers, personal belongings, or folks that require assistance getting to the boats.

**Weather Policy**
Mountain weather is fickle and can change quickly. Its not uncommon for it to be raining directly overhead and not raining a mile down the lake. In the event of the following conditions a reservation will be considered a weather cancelation and issued a full refund. All weather cancelations are at the sole discretion of the Fontana Marina. The following conditions must be present at the time of the rental and persist throughout the rental period such that it prevents any use of the boat;

- Consistent, hard rain lasting more than 45 minutes.
- Winds of more than 20 knots or small craft warnings.
- Lingering thunderstorms within 10 miles of the lake.
- Cloudy skies, light rain, or less than ideal weather conditions do not trigger a weather cancelation.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund with 4 days' notice of cancellation, any cancellations after the 4 days will result in loss of deposit. Customers will receive a full refund in case of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances the day of rental. If cancelled on the day of said rental, the renter is responsible for the entire balance. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
