**Step 1 – Drive Directly to Goodland Boat Park**

**Step 2 – Collier County Pay-to-Park Instructions 🅿️**
**Collier County now uses a new Pay to Park system** at all beaches and marinas. Please follow these instructions:
- **Pay for parking** by either:
- **Scanning the QR code** on the signs posted at the park
- **Texting the number** listed on the sign
- **Visiting [http://t2p.mobi](http://t2p.mobi)**
- **Payment methods:** Credit card or mobile payment app only (**cash is not accepted**)
- **All-day parking:** Once paid, you may park all day at any Collier County beach or marina using the same pass
- **Free parking:** Collier County Beach Parking Permit holders may park for free
- **No ticket needed:** Your vehicle license plate is registered electronically
- **Restrictions:** Do not park in spaces marked “Trailered Vehicles Only”
- **Overflow parking:**is available nearby along the shrubs on your left immediately outside the gate.
- **Afternoon tours:** Uber, Lyft, or ride-sharing is highly recommended due to limited parking

If you arrive late, your boat may have already departed.
- Captains can only wait **approximately 5 minutes**
- Late arrivals may forfeit their trip with **no refund**

# 🏝️ Shelling Island Time Policy
Please return to the boat **exactly at the time assigned by your Captain**.
- Late returns delay other guests and trips
- Any party returning late will be charged **$30 per person** if departure is delayed

# 🚫 Vessel Rules
- **NO SMOKING**
- **NO aerosol sunscreen application on the vessel**

# 🐚 What to Bring – Shelling Trips
- 2–3 bottles of water per person
- **At least one electrolyte drink (Gatorade or equivalent)**
- Snack
- Bucket or bag for shells
- Sneakers or water shoes (_flip flops not recommended_)
- Hand rake
- Bug spray
- Towel
- Sunscreen (non-aerosol)
- Polarized sunglasses
- Rain gear (June–October)
- Small soft cooler only (no large coolers)
**Heat Safety:** Water alone does NOT prevent heat exhaustion. Electrolytes or sugar-based drinks are essential. We strongly recommend carrying **one drink with you while shelling**.
**All guests must disembark during shelling stops. No one may remain on the boat without the Captain.**

# 🌦️ Weather Policy
Weather decisions are made **solely by the Captain** based on **safety**, not temperature.
- Cancellations may occur in advance or at the dock
- If WE cancel due to weather, **you will not be charged**
- We will attempt to reschedule when possible
- Morning temperatures below 70°F can feel chilly — dress in layers

Gratuity is greatly appreciated and makes up a portion of our Captains’ income.
- Suggested gratuity: **18–20%**
- May be added to credit card or given in cash
- Parties of 6 or more: automatic **18% gratuity**

### Cancellation Policy
- **7 Days or More Notice:** Full refund if cancelled ≥7 days (168 hours) before departure
- **Less Than 7 Days Notice:** Non-refundable
- **Trip Protection:** Optional 15% of booking fee allows full refund if cancelled up to 48 hours before departure
- **No-Show:** No refund
### Tour Change Policy
- **More than 7 Days Notice:** Request changes subject to availability
- **Within 7 Days:** $50 change fee per guest
- **Same-Day Changes:** Not accommodated
- **Price Changes:** New pricing applies at rebooking
### Late Policy
- **Prompt Departure:** Boats depart promptly
- **Arrival Time:** ***Arrive at least 30 minutes early***
- **Tardiness:** Boats may depart without you; no refund
- **Rescheduling:** Sometimes possible depending on circumstances and availability, but not guaranteed
