MEET UP DETAILS:
Arrive at Best Slope Adventure shop at 8 AM, unless you've arranged a different meeting time or location with your guide. Shop address is 257 Sherman Street Suite A Ridgway, CO 81432
TRIP DETAILS:
You've booked the Dominguez-Escalante Overnight Trip, a 2-day adventure covering 20 river miles (Class I-II). Best Slope transports your group and equipment to the put-in location (about an hour's drive from our shop) and shuttles you back to the shop after the trip. Return time is dependent on flows & group exploration time) of time group prefers to explore.
WHAT BEST SLOPE ADVENTURE PROVIDES:
Best Slope provides the equipment - raft, duckies or SUP boards. Please let us know how many of each type you'd like and we'll have the right number ready for your trip.
Safety Gear + River Essentials: PFDs, med kits, water/Gatorade, dry box, cooking equipment, and Groover.
110L Dry Bag Suitcase: Provided for packing your clothing, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad to keep your gear dry throughout the trip. Best Slope will transport all gear and equipment.
Camp Setup & Camping Equipment: We’ll secure and assist in setting up your campsites as needed. Tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads are provided, unless you prefer to bring your own gear—just make sure it fits in the 110L dry bag provided for packing.
Meals: We'll provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the trip. Please inform your guide of any food allergies.
WHAT TO BRING:
-Quick-dry clothing & water shoes (Avoid cotton—it stays wet!)
-Sunscreen
-Sunglasses with a strap
-Hat or visor for sun protection
-Water bottle
-Sleeping bag & sleeping pad (Unless using provided gear)
-Headlamp or flashlight
-Toiletries
-Bug spray (Depending on the season)
-Personal medications
-Snacks (optional)
-Personal dry bag for small personal items or waterproof phone case (Can rent these at the shop if preferred)
-Change of clothes for camp (Warm layers for cooler evenings)
-Cash or card for gratuity (Tipping your guide is appreciated!)
Last step, read and sign waiver prior to departure or arrive with enough time to do so on the day of your trip.

Cancellation Policy
50% deposit is due at time of booking. Remaining balance will be charged 24 hours before departure.
We know that plans can shift and we will do our best to work with you. If you need to cancel your trip, please let us know in advance. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 72 hours before departure are non-refundable, since we have already prepared for the trip.
In the event of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, customers will receive a full refund or credit.
